Your role:
- Use React/JS, HTML, CSS to turn designs into performant and maintainable interfaces
- Develop testable and accessible web applications
- Help translate product requirements into user stories and technical solutions within a continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) environment
- Work in a devops agile environment following agile ceremonies
- Work with designers to identify and solve potential implementation issues
- Communicate with project leads, product managers and other software developers
Your team:
- You'll be working in the Global Messaging and Screening Capability Unit of Group Technology as part of a talented software team that works on delivering mission-critical applications in an agile dev ops organization
What you'll need:
- Bachelor's Degree, ideally in a technical field, but we understand great engineers come from many different backgrounds and also consider relevant work experience
- 2+ years related experience preferably in a banking environment
- Our Front End stack is: React, Redux, styled-components
- Experience with modern Front End libraries and tooling (npm, webpack)
- Familiarity with responsive design/development and mobile-web best practices
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others and get stuff done
- Strong sense of responsibility; driving a project from inception to completion
- Affinity for solving problems and shipping impactful features, not polishing perfect code or architecture, preferably using agile development methodology
- Experience working in a collaborative coding environment, refining designs together, working through code reviews and managing pull requests
You have:
- Experience working with Redux
- Experience with React hooks and context
- Experience working on large-scale applications
- Experience building Back End API's (we primarily use Java
- Experience working with Typescript or other statically-typed languages
- Experience creating customer facing emails and other communications
