Solution Architect (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Ensure consistent design choices are made across the 3 projects to enable integration in the Information System landscape
- Analyze business processes, requirements and architectural needs for the above-mentioned projects
- Determine how technology can be used to solve given business needs, while making a “buy vs build” recommendation: Which existing or to-be-acquired framework, platform or technology stack can be used to create the solution; How the applications will look, what the modules will be and how they interact with each other; How things will scale for the future and how they will be maintained
- Figure out the risk in third-party frameworks/platforms: What are the best hosting choices, with regard to the different project
- Analyze and design the integration needs as well as the redundancy and decommissioning impact on existing legacy solutions
- Model and monitor the architecture components in collaboration with Platform owners to help platforms attain greater efficiency, better control and quality
- Take responsibility for the quality of the designed solutions, in terms of non-functional requirements (performance, stability, upgradeability and security)
- Introduce solution architecture principles and standards to be implemented
- Drive, coach and manage teams of developers on those projects
Main qualifications
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Tech and profound experience
- In-depth experience as Technical Consultant/Architect or an equivalent position (TOGAF certification would be an advantage)
- Knowledge of CRM Systems – Microsoft Dynamics for example – is a plus
- Proficiency in one core programming language (C#/C++, Java, JS)
- Experienced with web/micro-services and databases such as, but not limited to: REST, SOAP, MS/SQL, open source databases
- In-depth understanding of web technologies (HTML 5, React, Angular, CSS, Ajax, XML)
- Strong grasp of computer science fundamentals: object-oriented programming, design patterns, UML and algorithms
- Good understanding of UI/UX concepts and methodologies
- Understanding of Cloud architecture: SaaS, PaaS models
- Experienced with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, SAFE)
- Business fluency in English and French
