For our Pharma client in Basel, we are looking for a
Java Expert Developer
Background:
We are looking for a Java Expert Developer to implement a Bio Sample Tracking solution, which addresses the root causes of issues with transparency of sample life cycle and chain of custody management. The successful candidate will be responsible for the Back End development of the platform.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the Back End development of the BioSample Tracking platform
Very knowledgeable of Test-Driven Development and agile methodologies
Avid learner. Highly driven to improve their skills
Ensure scalability of the platform to a cloud enterprise solution
Proactively collaborate with a team comprising of informatics experts, software engineers and life science experts
Must Haves:
5-7 years professional Java software development experience
Has demonstrated strong working knowledge of best coding practices (software
craftsmanship, clean code,TDD/BDD/DDD, pair-programming)
Proven experience with SpringBoot & SpringCloud
Experience with continuous integration/delivery ecosystems (Jira, Git, Jenkins)
M.Sc in Computer Science or similar discipline
Strong analytical skills combined with conceptual thinking and structured working style
Ability to work in a multicultural geographically distributed team
Strong communication skills
Fluent in English
