Backend Cloud Developer - Geneva, Switzerland - Remote - ASAP Start - English or French Speaking
Objective
The candidate will work on a project aiming at connecting devices to a Cloud via an Embedded GSM modem.
He/She will participate to the choice of the best protocol to assure a secure bi-directional data transmission from to the device to the Cloud. The transmission must be secured via an authentication mechanism. The device sends its own data to the cloud and can receive firmware and/or configuration updates from the cloud.
Skills
. IoT expertise and Device remote connection via a GSM modem
. Expertise on the platform management of connected devices
. Analyze and Identify IoT uses cases considering the whole IoT chain, from device management and connectivity to data storage and processing.
. IoT Strategy ( Edge IoT )
. IoT Communication protocol Analyzes (such as HTTPS, MQTT, CoAP)
. Establish recommendations for the selection and deployment of IoT solutions, in collaboration with IT and Data Protection teams.
. Support the development of prototypes and Proofs of Concepts by developing the Back End of the cloud.
. Development of the corresponding Back End applications for IoT cloud services on the major platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
. Design Web applications for technology demos, cloud services, or customer projects.
. Strong experience with designing and implementing scalable web user interfaces,
. Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web UI frameworks (Vue.js, AngularJS), Linux, Python, databases, JSON, MQTT, Git
. Wished experience: At least 3 years of experience in related field
