Your role
Are you a passionate Java developer with a strong focus on delivery? Are you a team player and like to mentor junior developers?
We're looking for an experienced Java developer to:
- Implement new Java based solutions to be deployed on Pivotal Cloud Foundry in Azure
- Implement CI/CD pipeline
- Collaborate closely with the Solution Architect to define the application design
- Mentor junior team members in Java development
- Review Groovy code supplied by an external vendor
- Implement small enhancements for third party product in Groovy
- Contribute to improve CI/CD pipeline for third party application
Your team
You'll be working in the Legal Technology engineering team in Switzerland. We are a dynamic and growing team based primarily in Zurich with a global footprint. We deliver technology solutions to Group General Counsel (Legal) using state of the art software both from major vendors in the field and in-house developments. The Legal industry is a hot bed for new technology. In the current environment, we are working on projects in areas such as Document Management and Matter & Spend Management. Our mission is to adopt the Cloud, implement advanced solutions for automation and self-service in Legal processes.
Your expertise
Must
- Solid experience in Java development (at least five years)
- Solid experience in Continuous Delivery
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
- Experienced in SCRUM methodology
- Working knowledge of Microsoft desktop software, SQL and RDMS technologies
- Fluent in English
A plus is
- Groovy Scripting knowledge
- Experience with Pivotal Cloud Foundry
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
