For a fixed-term position at our client's site, an international insurance based in Zurich we are looking for a
Non-Life Reserving Actuarial Analyst - IFRS %)
Your Qualifications:
- 2+ years of non-life insurance experience as a partially or fully-qualified Actuary
- Completed Masters Degree in Mathematics or related field
- Good programming skills with SQL, SAS, VBA would be an advantage
- Experience with IFRS 17
- Finance or Reserving experience is preferred
- Ability to work independently and apply critical thinking
- Well versed in prioritize and deliver quality work under time pressure
- Fluent in German and English
Your Responsibilities:
- Support the development of actuarial solutions for IFRS 17, which includes contributing to development, as well as testing and implementation of tools
- Provide reserving input into financial quarter closes under IFRS 17, and assess the financial impact of the new accounting standard
- Develop and prepare actuarial reports under the new accounting standard, analyse and understand the results, provide insights to finance, reserving actuaries and project managers
- Lead the development of delivery and processing of actuarial reserving data
