- We support our internal customers (developers and service managers) in making their software testable, deployable, scalable and operable in our Private Cloud as automatically as possible
- Our aim is to run applications in a way that not only the users are happy with the stability, but also the developers with agility and simplicity
- We take care of the generic processes such as packaging, deployments and rollbacks, scaling and load balancing, configuration and key management, so that our customers can take care of the features even more efficiently
- Our customers mainly use Java and JavaScript; we use JBoss, Tomcat, Ansible, Puppet and Python. In addition to further development of our tools, we also cover the development of glue scripts and Ansible Playbooks / Puppet modules and understanding the customer code when debugging with the customer together as well as communication with the customer's developers

Main tasks:
- Discussing tests and requirements in the CI, health checks, handing over configuration for backends and secrets, automatic deployments for (feature) branches with/without fixtures
- You work in an agile, self-organized team in which passion, trust and innovation have a high value
- You build and operate Linux-based PaaS and services like JBoss, Tomcat and SaaS on the cloud infrastructure (Private Cloud Nutanix)
- Automating recurring activities, Infrastructure as Code, API-First & Co
- Support for troubleshooting
- Analyzing error situations and implementing workarounds and solutions

- Create recurring installation of configurations in automation solutions
Main qualifications
- BS or MS in Business Administration Computer Science or Engineering
- Ambitious and enthusiastic personality with a high affinity for agility and fun in the development of high-quality IT solutions
- Automation using Puppet, Ansible or other script languages is no problem for you
- You also have a passion for open source technologies and the open source community
- As a real team player you stand up for continuous improvement and transparency
- Pleasant manners and a competent appearance
- Professional experience as an engineer in the field of middleware (JBoss/Tomcat), including scripting, automation and monitoring in an enterprise environment
- You move effortlessly on Linux systems
- Very good knowledge in Web protocols like HTTP, HTTPS, REST Based Solutions
- Very good knowledge regarding JBoss, Tomcat, Fus, CI/CD Pipeline Tools
- Operational know-how regarding Jenkins, Nexus, SonarQube, Nexus IQ and Bitbucket
- Experience with support for platform troubleshooting, support for debugging Jenkins pipelines and supporting the development of Shared Libs in Jenkins
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, shell scripting, Groovy, Ansible, Puppet
- Fluent in English and German or French
- IT Service Management Certification (ITIL)
- Team work ability in a challenging IT environment
