Communication Manager (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
  • Develop, maintain, and execute a comprehensive strategic communications plan, in alignment with the department communications
  • Development of internal communications both in English as well as German (i.e. newsletters, success stories, goal achievement summaries, intranet articles, Q&A documents for specific projects, etc.)
  • Serve as a communications consultant to the Site Leadership Team, helping to drive the function’s business priorities, strategy deployment, goal cascade, and providing communications guidance and operational help as needed.
  • Coach and train teams and individuals to improve their communications skills and communication best practice
  • Serve as a communications consultant to other teams and projects within the organization
  • Support planning and execution of town halls, including agenda setting and development of associated communications materials
  • Lead the storyboarding and development of various printed and digital communications materials for the site
  • Dealing with e-Mails and correspondence in English and German
  • Acting as the department’s point of contact with other local and global functions, sites, affiliates and 3rd parties


Main qualifications
  • You have a commercial diploma or university degree in business administration/communication (apprenticeship or college), or an equivalent qualification
  • Relevant working experience and practical experience in a similar position in a similarly complex company
  • Experience with managing change is a plus
  • Ability to translate complex technical, strategic, and organizational information into attractive and understandable messages according to requirements of target groups
  • Professional, outgoing person who can liaise with different audiences and cultures
  • Capable of handling various demands and responding effectively to requests under pressure
  • Communicate effectively in difficult situations and at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent writing skills and storytelling ability
  • Proactivity, initiative, excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
  • Very good MS office (Word, excel, PowerPoint) and IT Skills such as Touchpoint and google
  • Excellent command of English and German (written and spoken) is required
