Java 8 Developer, Spring Boot, Kafka, Event Sourcing, end to end testing, Agile/scrum
Global FS firm is implementing a new system and process environment to support the financial reporting function from source to sub-ledger and general ledger. They need to hire a strong and experienced Java developer to join one of the sprint teams (in this Agile approach) to develop data integration/processing/monitoring applications using micro-services. In addition to ensure applications are performing and tested against requirements.
You will have proven experience delivering software as part of an agile team. In addition to strong Java 8 you will have solid knowledge of reactive architecture and micro-services (Spring Boot), messaging and stream processing architectures built on Kafka. Experience with Event Sourcing and proven expertise in writing unit tests and end to end integration tests. You must have Java 8, Spring Boot and Kafka experience.
Experience in any of the following is desirable but not essential:
Native Cloud development; Azure, GCP, AWS; SAP HANA
