Contract Manager Professional Services Contracts (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Follow all laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of all activities
- Accountable for being fully knowledgeable of all relevant policies and for abiding by these
- You don not compromise ethics or integrity, or undertake legal risks while pursuing business goals and you ask questions when in doubt
- Demonstrate leadership among peers by consistent application and modeling of the appropriate compliance, behavior and conduct
- Where applicable, you are required to obtain and maintain full proficiency and knowledge of disease state, product and other aspects or issues as provided for and mandated by the company
- Stay abreast of internal and external changes and evolutions: business strategies, goals and objectives, market and industry trends, as well as legal and regulatory developments and requirements
- Develop knowledge and understanding of the legal issues and requirements that impact business consistently acts in compliance with these general parameters and guidelines
- Work with manager, other team members and various groups to review Professional Services contracts needs and budgeting
- Participate in discussions among departments, including legal, Finance, and other Professional Services groups/customers regarding areas for improvement, enhancements to the quality of contracts and the contracting process
- Support department and manager, as and when assigned, in development of appropriate contract templates, language and procedures
- Identifying opportunities to streamline processes and decision-making regarding the development, negotiation and execution of commercial contracts, works closely with partners in legal, assigned groups, and Professsional Services
- Support the manager and the department overall in the development and implementation of departmental standard operating procedures (SOPs) and tracking methods
Main qualifications
- Bachelor's or University degree required
- Related work experience with Global Contracts, Global Sourcing, e.g., legal, contract management and administration; preferably with extensive experience gained in the pharmaceutical, biotech or other highly regulated industry
- Profound experience Pharma Industry commercial contracting experience desired
- Related work experience, e.g., legal, contract management and administration; preferably with some experience gained in the pharmaceutical, biotech or other highly regulated industry
- A basic understanding of the drug development process
- Demonstrable knowledge of, or the aptitude to learn, the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- The demonstration of the professional values and personal skills necessary for effective teamwork
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding objectives and goals
- Ability to efficiently perform multiple complex tasks
- Must have experience working with lawyers in Europe and the US
