Vendor Manager vacancy for our globally operating Aargau based company in the manufacturing sector.Your experience/skills:
- High competencies in strategic thinking, negotiation, commercial understanding and stakeholder management
- Experience in buy or sell side negotiations, business partnerships or technology specialist with extensive experience interacting with strategic suppliers
- Knowledge of market trends in contract and pricing models, performance management, service delivery and innovation
- Proven track record in conducting the delivery of outsourced services
- Know-how of defining and promoting key reports as well as improving KPIs and data quality
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Managing and developing value-adding relationships and alliances with strategic IS suppliers
- Cooperating with internal groups in IS and Business to forecast for specified 3rd party services
- Managing and measuring performance of the relationship between internal customers and suppliers
- Communicating and coordinating with the regional and global portfolio
- Acting as an escalation point for arbitration of relationship and operational issues to identifying and resolving key issues
- Fulfilling correct contracting of services, aligned with the global IS sourcing strategy and existing master agreements with strategic suppliers
- Evaluating supplier and service related risks such as supplier dependency, identifying mitigations to reduce risks and maintaining implementation of mitigation plan
