For a project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
System Engineer – E-Mail / LDAP / Linux Infrastructure
The Email boundary & backbone layer is the perimeter infrastructure that performs email hygiene, policy enforcement, directory and routing to the end users mailbox regardless of organization and e-mail system. The E-Mail Boundary Layer connects all corporate applications and mailing systems sending and receiving e-mail with each other and with the Internet.
Your Qualifications:
- Several years’ experience as System Engineer including know-how within email infrastructures in a global corporation
- Proven expertise in email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
- Strong knowledge of Linux-based MTA products and LDAP databases
- Experience as a project stream lead in a large IT project
- Good understanding of network services (SSH, TLS, DNS, firewalls, load balancers)
- Fluent in English and German
Your Responsibilities:
- Drive DMARC introduction from a design and operations viewpoint
- Collaborate with a solution vendor and with internal functions
- Support project, service and product managers with consulting and materials
- Support email boundary engineers with business-as-usual requests (create, test and document email routing and policy changes)
- Contribute to Email Boundary infrastructure lifecycling (testing, documentation, scripting, automation)
