Main tasks:
- Conceptualize and design a cloud-based DevOps environment within established IT vision and business requirements
- Implement a cloud-based DevOps environment that is based on Microsoft Azure technologies
- Work closely with IT as well as business teams to ensure a successful delivery of the platform
- Document DevOps architecture, key decisions, processes and environments
- Communicate and engage with key stakeholders
- Prepare and deliver presentations and demos
- Draft and advise on a secure software development lifecycle set of best practices for internal software development teams
- Monitor and support on-premises Azure DevOps Server 2019 installation, assisting development teams in their implementation of CI/CD pipelines and agile project methodologies (up to 20%)
Main qualifications
- Profound experience in technical leadership and DevOps roles
- In-depth hands-on experience as software engineer and/or DevOps engineer
- Substantiated DevOps engineering experience and knowledge of the entire DevOps stack including CI and CD
- Very good knowledge of on-premises Azure DevOps Server 2019
- Knowledge of secure coding practices such as OWASP
- Bachelor's degree in IT or related field desirable
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
