For a long-term project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Ticino, we are looking for several motivated
(Junior) Java Developer - Financial Messaging Applications
Your Qualifications:
- Software Development skills working with Java in Spring framework
- Understanding in designing and developing applications using Java EE platforms
- Experience working on financial messaging applications
- Insight of Java and JEE internals (Classloading, Memory Management, Transaction management, etc)
- Knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
- Well versed in developing web applications using at least one popular web framework (JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC)
- Knowledge of SWIFT message types MT1XX, MT2XX and the equivalent of the ISO20022 standard
- Willingness to relocate to Ticino
- Fluent in English
Your Responsibilities:
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
