Project Description:
Integration of a new release of a business critical and complex high availability service provisioning system for our client. From 2007 to 2010 IBM has successfully delivered several major releases with a local team supported by landed near shore resources. The next release for the client's application is in preparation
In addition to the development IBM is also responsible for the 24/7 maintenance of the application.
Task Description:
We're looking for an experienced Java/J2EE developer with a special flair for relational databases
His/her first task will be the development of scripts for a schema and data migration of moderate complexity (~20 tables)
Skills:
- Good knowledge of relational DBs in general and Oracle in particular
- Very good SQL (and PL/SQL) scripting skills
- DB scripts will be used on several test and production environments
- Experienced in J2EE / WAS / Hibernate, Struts and SOAP (preferably with Telecom / Network experience)
- Knowledge in J2EE patterns
- Analytical thinking and ability to work in an agile development environment
- English fluent in writing and speaking
Nice to have Skills:
- Testing with JUnit, Cactus and manually are also part of the tasks
- German
