Senior Hardware Engineer (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- You develop liquid handling solutions from concept to detailed design considering costs, reliability, tolerance calculations, manufacturing aspects and serviceability
- You work in close collaboration with other disciplines like electronics and fluid dynamics and integrate their concepts and design
- You are responsible for the component (pumps, valves, probes etc.) evaluation for liquid handling solutions considering cost and lifetime aspect
- You translate functional, performance, regulatory, manufacturing and service requirements into design and review your solutions with the corresponding stakeholders
- You define and control interfaces with other system elements
- You define and maintain 3D CAD models including detailed drawings of individual parts
Main qualifications
- Bachelor/Master of Science or PhD in mechanical engineering
- You are experienced in product development from concept to detailed design
- You know how to integrate different components from different disciplines into design
- You have good communication skills to interact with different stakeholders (service, manufacturing etc)
- Being experienced in the field of liquid handling solution development is beneficial
- Fluency in German and English (oral and written)
