On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Lucerne, we are looking for an IT Application Analyst & Supporter with good experience in banking topics and good knowledge of databases and SQL. Are you a passionate an IT Application Analyst & Supporter who is looking for a new and exciting challenge?

Overview of business area or project:
You will work in Client Tax Reporting IT where applications to produce tax reports for clients are developed. The tax reports require a lot of data from all over the banks systems and can get quite complex. High quality is very important. There are multiple large projects for different business and regulatory purposes running at the same time. Many projects have regulatory deadlines or tight schedules so that flexibility and strong team work is required.
Main responsibilities:
- Get understanding of the IT application and tax related business topics
- Testing of new releases and patches and communication of issues
- Analysis of problems and defects in application, log files and database
- Documentation of application and infrastructure for users, support and developers
- Actively participate in daily stand-ups and sprint demos
- Installation, configuration and upgrade of a windows application
The skills and experience needed for these positions are:
- Finished Banking apprenticeship in Switzerland (Kaufmann Bank EFZ) with technical flair OR finished IT apprenticeship in Switzerland (Informatiker EFZ) or Bachelor in IT
- Experience in banking topics (accounts, payments, securities, stock markets..)
- Experience with relations databases and SQL
- Basic knowledge of web services and XML, JSON
- Fast learning, motivated, self-organized and proactive
- Good written and oral communication skills
- German (native/fluent)/Swiss German and fluent English
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Windows and MS SQL server
- Experience in batch and Shell Scripting
- Experience in C#/.Net application development
