Senior UX Researcher - MS Office/Balsamiq/Adobe/research/business and product

Project / Role:
For one of our clients we are looking for a Senior UX Researcher. The role is a contract position for 6 months (with strong possibility of extension) close to Lucerne, Switzerland.

Main Tasks:
-Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research.
-Conduct qualitative studies including observation & interviews Support & drive insights for the framing and visioning process with deep qualitative research into user behaviour
- Synthesize and communicate research findings to inform business and product decisions
-Advocate research findings to diverse audiences through written reports and verbal presentations.
-Distil data into actionable insights for internal design and business teams Prepare and Facilitate Design Thinking Workshops with multiple Stakeholders on the foundation of the Research Insights

Skills / Requirements:
-3+ years of user research experience in applied product research
-3+ years of experience moderating user research sessions Track record of facilitating Design Thinking workshops (planning through execution) of small to large sessions over 1-2 days to help groups achieve their end objective(s)
- Experience defining the high-level strategy (the why)
Soft Skills
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information creatively, concisely and effectively
- Ability to (and excitement for) travel internationally An outgoing, persuasive personality to influence and guide decision making
IT Skills
- MS Office
- Balsamiq
- Adobe tools are a plus

Education:
Degree in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Human Factors, Anthropology, Sociology, Design or a related field with a strong emphasis on social science or human research
