For a project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

Big Data Engineer – Hadoop (60864)

In this role you will operate and maintain a whole platform end to end and work closely with the development teams.

Your Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Big Data engineering, scripting and data ingestion, 3+ years of experience in Hadoop Administration and at least 2 years of experience in Data governance via Atlas
• 5+ years of experience in Oracle DB and Oracle Webservices management and in Security knowledge: Identity mgmt, SingleSignOn, Kerberos, SSL, PKI infrastructure in a Big Data setting
• 3-5 years of experience in Building Big Data pipelines in both Cloud and on-premise environments including tools like AWS EMR/Yarn/Spark/Kinesis/HBase
• Experience with IBM DB2 and IBM Power Systems is a plus
• Understanding of ETL principles and how to apply them within Hadoop is a plus
• Fluent in English

Your Responsibilities:

• Engineer and integrate the platform from a technology point of view
• Engineer core Big Data platform capabilities
• Operate and maintain the whole platform end to end
