Storage SME - Basic German language skills - Switzerland
A fantastic opportunity for a Storage SME with basic German Language skills has opened up for a Global Consultancy client to work onsite at a large Pharmaceutical company in beautiful Switzerland. This is a contract opportunity for a long term project initially 12 months contract with the option to extend.
Responsibilities include;
- Actively participate in global Storage Infrastructure Team
- Actively participate in global Backup and Data Center operations Team
- Assist in license management
- Manage capacity planning, report technical performance metrics, and implementation of operational standards and best practices to meet required service levels.
- Develop and continuously refine documented technical strategies in order to provide a scalable and manageable environment for future growth
Knowledge of:
- VMWare,
- Storage systems with NetApp and EMC
- Backups primarily with Commvault
- Data Center facilities operations
