Senior Scrum Master - Jira/AgileProject/Role:
For our customer, a renowned pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are looking for an experienced Senior Scrum Master. The role is contract position initially for 10 months (with strong possibility of extension) in Luzern Switzerland.
Main Tasks:
-Facilitate Squad ceremonies from sprint planning to demonstration
-Track progress and achievement of the Squad goals at daily stand-ups using burndown charts/cumulative flow diagrams
-Coordinate interaction with other Squads of one's own and other tribes (e.g. during Quarterly Tribe Review planning or other tribe Squads synchronisation ceremonies)
-Manage the processes of decomposition and task estimation, finding dependencies with other Squads and updating the backlog to prepare the Squad for QTR
-Administer the backlog in the production system
-Help other Squads and conventional parts of the organisation build effective communication and interaction with the Squad
Requirements:
-Minimum of 3 years of experience being a Scrum Master
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership or project team role preferred
-Worked in agile projects with multiple development/scrum teams
-Business Intelligance experience is a big plus
-Past developer experience is highly desired
-Experienced with managing backlogs and sprints in JIRA
Soft Skills:
-Confident and skilled at identifying and navigating through road-blocks
-Assertive, with the confidence to be voice of authority
-Ability to promote innovative thinking and self-development
-Strong communication skills and ability to coach team on agile practices and ensure adherence to agile methodology to deliver maximum business value on time
Education:
-Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related quantitative discipline
-Certified Scrum Master
-Scaled Agile certification preferred
Language:
-English Fluent and German Nice to have
