Your Skills
- 15-20 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar function or role, so as RTE in a multi-team - multi-application release train
- SPC4 certificate holder
- Excellent knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, )
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment
- 5 years of experience in software development or software testing a strong plus
Your Tasks
- The Release Train Engineer (RTE) is a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART). The RTE's major responsibilities are to facilitate the ART events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value. RTEs communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement.
- The RTE facilitates ART processes and execution, respectively. She/he escalates impediments, manages risk, helps ensure value delivery, and helps drive relentless improvement. She/he will participate in the Lean-Agile transformation, coaching leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in the new processes and mindsets.
- Manage and optimize the flow of value through the ART using various tools, such as the Program and other information radiators
- Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments (PIs) Facilitate PI Planning readiness by fostering a Continuous Exploration process which drives the synthesis of a Vision, a Roadmap, and Backlogs, and through Pre- and Post-PI Planning meetings
