On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer (Risk Engines) with proven experience in implementing application in core Java and strong experience in multi-threaded low latency platforms. Main responsibilities:
- Implementation of new requirements, with particular focus on scalability, architecture, stability, automated testing
- Interaction with an international team of developers, architects, quantitative investment professionals
Essentials Skills and Qualifications:
- Over 7 years of experience implementing mission critical Server Side application in core Java
- Strong experience in highly available, multi-threaded low latency platforms
- Solid experience in Enterprise Integration Patterns (Spring integration, Apache Camel)
- Proven experience in messaging frameworks (Apache Kafka, Apache ActiveMQ)
- Good experience with latest versions of Java
- Previous experience of a development role in finance or computationally intense computing, eg banking, trading, asset management, risk management, insurance
- Experience with Linux environments
- Understanding of financial products, time series and risk management principles
- Fluent English
Desired skills and qualifications:
- Good knowledge of Angular 5/6, experience implementing web based GUIs
- Experience in DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, cloud & containerization technologies)
