We are looking for a Senior Ansible Architect. Must have extensive experience working with offshore teams. German speaking will be an advantage. The Ansible Architect must possess excellent client facing skills. You will provide expert technical consultation services and thought leadership. The first 5 weeks of the assignment will be a residential assignment in Switzerland which could lead to a 1 year extension.

Responsibilities
- You will be a technical expert for Ansible ecosystem & DevOps practices within the organization, providing solutions and technical implementation aligned with the automation program objectives
- Design and Setup of Highly Available Ansible Engine and Ansible Tower Infrastructure
- You will help develop Ansible artifacts, troubleshoot issues and work on implementing configuration management
- Develop Ansible playbooks and modules
- Administer Ansible infrastructure, perform maintenance and configuration and provide SME level support
- Develop, configure and administer DevOps and IT automation solutions
- Evaluation and Integration of IT systems and development tools: ServiceNow, BMC Remedy and others with Ansible/Ansible Tower
- Understand and remediate complex issues and topologies of large enterprises
- Provide technical support to IT ops around automation solution usage
Skills
- Strong experience with Ansible and Ansible Tower
- Mandatory certification to have: Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation
- Good to have certification: BMC Remedy Service Desk and Change Management 9.x or ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - ITSM
- Strong Experience in Ruby, Python, PL/SQL, PowerShell, and Bash
- Experience with Kickstart, Firewalls, Hypervisors and Routers
- Experience with open source technologies such as Docker, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Mesos, Consul, Ansible, Terraform, etc
- Log mining & analytics using Splunk/Elastic Stack
- Expert level RHEL 6, RHEL 7, Windows 2012 and Windows 2016 System Administration
- Deep understanding of PostgreSQL, Oracle, Apache, Tomcat and Nginx
- Expert level understanding and implementation of RESTful, SOAP and SDK APIs
- Good understanding of Jenkins, Git, CI, Test Frameworks etc
- Comfortable with frequent, incremental code, testing and deployment
- Ability to adapt to a changing and dynamic environment.
- Basic Understanding in Data science practices and patterns
Basic Qualifications
- 5 years of development/operations support for software release management
- 2 years of experience working with Ansible and other DevOps tools
