Professional Java Developer (m/f)Are you an experienced Professional Java Developer (m/f) looking for a new project? Our client, a large pharmaceutical company located in Basel offers an interesting and exciting opportunity for freelance Professional Java Developer (m/f).
You should be a strong and experienced Java Developer (TDD) who would be responsible for leading the backend development and coach new developers.
Tasks
- Responsible for the backend development platform
- Lead a remote team of software developers
- Improve the code quality
- Participate in technical decision makings
- Ensure scalability of the platform to a cloud enterprise solution
Required skills
- Deep knowledge of Java and MongoDB
- +5 years professional software development experience
- Knowledge in TDD/BDD, pair-programming
- Leadership experience
- Strong working knowledge of cloud-based solutions (preferably AWS)
- Experience with Jira, BitBucket, Jenkins
- Fluent in English
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Docker containers (e.g. Mesosphere)
- Experience with big-data systems (e.g. Hadoop)
- SCRUM
