Environment Manager:
Experience / Skills
• 5+ year’s relevant experience with Incident, Problem Management as well as process improvement in a technology organisation
• Technical skills/experiences on: (Linux / Microsoft, Monitoring tools, Jira, )
• Thorough understanding of ITIL/ITSM processes with deep knowledge of the various ITSM stages, including but not limited to: Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Release and Deployment Management, Continuous Improvement, Service reporting and KPIs
• Broad understanding of all aspects of applications and infrastructure components
• ITILv3 Foundations Certification (preferred)
• Experience in agile and continuous integration continuous delivery based environment.
• Experience in safety-critical environment is a plus

Education
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related scientific or technical discipline

Purpose of the role
• Maintain the health of Test Staging Areas in Non-Operational environment through the user support, monitoring and incident management.
• Define / Establish and maintain:
- Documentation and process related to the Staging Areas
- The tools needed for the environment management
- Based on the actual tools and dashboards (outlook, confluence...)
- Added by the need monitoring and communication tools (availability dashboard e.g.)
• Ensure that Issues on Staging Areas are dealt with by priority and customer needs, in close collaboration with the Release Master and all relevant actors (like Application Experts / SMEs).
• Support the Release Master in maintaining the Staging Areas up and running, especially during the intensive project test phases.
• Interact with the Deployment teams, Infrastructure teams and Engineers in order to ensure a smooth RUN on Staging Areas

Key Responsibilities
• Uses strong problem-solving skills and is able to multi-task with a high sense of urgency
• Pro-actively works with staging users and technicians to drive resolution of recurring incidents
• Fosters communication with key stakeholders through strong relationship building
• Take part of the approval process in the frame of change requests.
• Makes recommendations for process improvements to the change, incident, or problem management processes
• Clearly communicates outage updates throughout the organization including the senior leadership team
• Drive Root Cause Analysis by working with internal/external business and technical teams when outages occur once the system is stable
• Performs job duties under limited supervision
• Participation to the evolution of the Staging Areas monitoring
• Put in place and maintain dashboards in incident management and availability
