We are working strategically with one of our core clients who is looking for an experienced and highly knowledgeable as a DWH Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and further development of the data warehouse and the ODS
  • Analysis of the technical requirements, clarification of open points with the business partners and professional modelling of the DWH
  • Implementation of the requirements in compliance with all architectural and operational standards
  • Documentation of the implementation and update of the application documentation
  • Maintaining the logical and physical data models and their documentation.
  • Continuous improvement of applications in terms of performance and standardization
  • Ensuring daytime processing (including on-call service)


Required Skills
  • Higher education in (economic) computer science or mathematics
  • Experience in dealing with ETL tools and processes
  • Strong SQL knowledge in the context of relational databases, experience with Oracle is an advantage
  • In-depth knowledge in data modelling, experience in Data Vault 2.0 is an advantage
  • Substantial and long-term experience in the design and implementation of BI / DWH solutions
  • Good abstraction ability and good analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in finance, preferably in the card business, is an advantage
  • Fluent language skills in English. Fluent skills in German
