We are working strategically with one of our core clients who is looking for an experienced and highly knowledgeable as a DWH Engineer
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and further development of the data warehouse and the ODS
- Analysis of the technical requirements, clarification of open points with the business partners and professional modelling of the DWH
- Implementation of the requirements in compliance with all architectural and operational standards
- Documentation of the implementation and update of the application documentation
- Maintaining the logical and physical data models and their documentation.
- Continuous improvement of applications in terms of performance and standardization
- Ensuring daytime processing (including on-call service)
Required Skills
- Higher education in (economic) computer science or mathematics
- Experience in dealing with ETL tools and processes
- Strong SQL knowledge in the context of relational databases, experience with Oracle is an advantage
- In-depth knowledge in data modelling, experience in Data Vault 2.0 is an advantage
- Substantial and long-term experience in the design and implementation of BI / DWH solutions
- Good abstraction ability and good analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in finance, preferably in the card business, is an advantage
- Fluent language skills in English. Fluent skills in German
