Middleware Specialist Windows (m/f)

Main tasks:
- Administration and configuration of the web application server in Windows domain
- Administration and configuration of 3rd party services in Windows domain
- Coding of automation and monitoring scripts (VBscript, PowerShell)
- Issues investigation and troubleshooting
- Contribution to the design, technical documentation, implementation and administration of enterprise application
- Middleware refreshment and patching
- Collaboration with specialists of different areas for the implementation of cross-domain activities
- Ticket management (L2/L3 support) in collaboration with our strategic 3rd party suppliers
- On-call service (7x24) and early/late shifts
Main qualifications
- Experienced profile with proven working experience in Middleware area
- Experience in analyzing technical problems and preparing and automating recurring administrative activities
- Knowledge of Windows scripting languages
- Knowledge of SSL and digital certificates
- Knowledge and management of Active Directory infrastructure
- Experience in Secure Data Transfer topics (SFTP, Queue Management)
- Competencies in administration of Apache Tomcat, Internet Information Server and Citrix and/or VMWare Horizon
- Ability to work on multiple tasks and cope with strict deadlines
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Italian – German and French are considered as a plus
