Associate Scientist with profound cell-based assays and immunoassays knowledge wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- University degree, apprenticeship or equivalent in life sciences with strong background in cell biology or biochemistry
- 3+ years' experience with cell-based assays and immunoassays, ideally in an industrial setting
- Background with working under GxP is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and team skills
- Languages: fluent English, German is a plus
Your tasks:
- Performing bioanalytical assays to characterise biopharmaceuticals in clinical development
- Planning, performing and documenting scientific experiments and planned activities under supervision, in several project teams and reporting to the laboratory head
- Providing raw data documentation, evaluation and results interpretation as well as input for the selection of next experiments
- Optimising existing methods and reproducing published methods as well as scheduling and performing routine maintenance of instruments and equipment
- Contributing to lab procedures, reports, instructions and SOP's as well as the evaluation of new lab equipment
- Participating in knowledge exchange by training and coaching employees
