Butos AG are distribution- and integrations partner of Orchestra Networks, EBXSolutions for Switzerland (Wettingen). We use the Suite EBX for Master Data Management (MDM). The topic of data management is becoming increasingly important as a result of digitization and cost savings for our customers. Digital Transformation, Data Management and Compliance are major topics in today´s market.
Master data management (MDM) is a technology-enabled discipline in which business and IT work together to ensure the uniformity, accuracy, stewardship, semantic consistency and accountability of the enterprise’sofficial shared master data assets. Master data is the consistent and uniform set of identifiers and extended attributes that describes the core entities of the enterprise including customers, prospects, citizens, suppliers, sites, hierarchies and chart of accounts. Butos is the only reseller in Switzerland of the MDM suite EBX5 from Orchestra Networks.

Job Description:
Active role in MDM projects as part of the Swiss Professional Services team, you will liaise directly with new and existing customers in a project environment. Your primary focus will be implementing the Orchestra Networks solution EBX. You will be accountable for supporting the project team in the analysis of customer requirements, defining and documenting the customer specific solution, designing and configuring the EBX5 software in order to meet the agreed customer requirements.
Another part will be defining internal processes to cover the Know How transfer, setting up a re-usable project methodology and structured MDM offering. Your creativity is needed to enable the consulting team in different working conditions, define a methodology for training new team members etc.
Key Activities:
• You will represent Butos in a consultancy role in implementation projects.
• You will analyse customer business needs and data needs and propose appropriate EBX5 configuration solutions.
• You will design and implement business solutions bringing added value to the customer.
• Where appropriate, you will liaise with Solution Architects andResearch and Development to define customized solutions and integrations to meet specific customer needs.
• Configure the EBX5 application in line with the documented solution design.
• You will support customer end-to-end testing prior to go live.
• You will actively participate and contribute to customer project meetings.
• You will identify the need for organization impact and appropriately include these details in the project plans subject to approval.
• You will document the business requirements and EBX5 configurations.
• You will work closely with the CEO in different are as, such as business development for EBX, answering RFPs, pre-sales and preparing offers.
• You will define and ensure a cohesive and structured approach forthe analysis of customer requirements and the definition of EBX5 solutions in line with agreed requirements as well as EBX5 Systems’ implementation methodology.
Skills Required:
• You are skilled in one or more of the following areas: e-commerce solutions, Retail, IT Finance, Insurance solutions, Product Information Management (PIM), Master Data Management (MDM),ERP, CRM, BI technologies
• Understanding of solution architectures in the context of MDM
• Good communication, analysis, documentation, customer service and time management skills.
• Ability to learn on the fly, make quick decisions and recommendations. Reflect on learnings and provide compelling solutions for improvement.
• Data Modelling
• Ability and Know How of data modelling and management.
• Understanding of Reporting, ETL and DWH-Technologies
• Consulting experience
• Technical understanding, able to understand Java coding
• Communication and writing in German and English
