Position Overview
Relationship management and business development for IT outsourcing projects in the private banking domain leveraging the global delivery model .

Job Functions
• Develop account penetration strategies, develop client relationship, understand their pain points, challenges, and goals
• Manage client expectations, provide updates to the senior management, participate in steering review meetings
• Provide thought leadership in managing large projects
• Ability to position the value proposition to deliver highest value to the customer
• Building relationships across various levels in the Client organization and to be able to develop executive level relationships in particular.
• Managing relationships, new business and delivery aspects of the engagement
• Health of the overall engagement
• Overall customer satisfaction within Client organisation.
• Ensuring Project delivery oversight; Carry out review of project plans, schedules and deliverables with offshore Delivery manager/Project Leader through teleconferences.
• Proactively defining, driving and tracking KPIs that drive value for customer, vis-à-vis their sourcing
• Mentoring project managers/leads & team members, working onsite, to ensure that they are delivering a professional, high quality, high value & responsive service experience to the client
• Primary escalation point for Client for any project issues and shows the potential to manage projects (if required)
• Identifying strategic initiatives that help Client’s business achieve their goals.
• Ensuring clear and timely communication and reporting of status of various projects to internal and external stakeholders. Identify & mitigate risks proactively


Requirements
• Proven account management experience in private banking IT including clearing and settlement, risk management, treasury, corporate actions and other related applications.
• Proven track record in growing accounts from existing business.
• Customer Orientated
• A specialist typically with a strong IT services/MBA background
• Proven experience in the IT industry, a significant amount of which should have been spent on managing customer relationships and ‘farming’ client accounts.
• The person should be strongly conversant in Project Management best practices, Quality practices, Solution architecture and Business Processes in the banking and financial services domain.
• Should have experience in delivering IT services in an onsite-offshore model.

• Strong communication and inter-personal skills are critical.
• German language skills.
