Tasks:
• In this project you facilitate process success for agile team setup.
o You guide and coach the team on how to use agile and scrum practices.
o Moreover you guide the team on how to get the most out of self-organization & define their working environment to maximize their productivity.
o You ensure efficiency and focus on delivery within the team.
o You assess scrum maturity of the team and support them to further enhance their skills at their reasonable pace.
o You support further development of IETV Agile practice and agiln across agile teams and with other scrum masters.
• You own and facilitate process and meetings to deliver the product.
o You facilitate getting the work done without assigning or dictating work.
o Moreover you facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution.
o You setup and moderate scrum ceremonies to the extent necessary & ensure purpose of each meeting is clear and complied with.
• You identify and have oversight to issues and remove impediments.
o You guide the team to remove impediments that they can solve themselves.
o Furthermore you find the right person to resolve impediments within the project or organization.
• You work closely with the product owner and act as ambassador and translator between product owner, agile team and chapter leads.
o You assist with internal (team) and external (project) communication, improving transparency and information sharing.
o You support product owners and epics leads in assuming their role.
o Furthermore you assist with grooming and maintaining the respective part of the product backlog.
o You identify alignment areas and facilitate discussions across agile teams and chapters.
• You coach and mentor the agile team and product owner.
o You provide all support to the team & lead by example.
o You build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised and with an emphasis on problem-solving.
• You help and facilitate planning and progress tracking/reporting.
o You understand and communicate work done by the team.
o You support reporting and communicating with respective IETV governance bodies.
Requirements:
• For this position you bring experience and skills in the follow areas:
o Workshop & Meeting moderation.
o Conflict resolution & Mediation.
o Scrum master certification.
• You have experience with coaching in agile methodology & the ability to communicate and adapt principles and practices to the situation.
• You worked as scrum master for minimum 5 years.
• You are experienced in large transformation projects.
• You are aware of and experienced in successful agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Testing and automated testing.
• You understand the finance processes, accounting and ideally the insurance industry.
Soft Skills:
• You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to network and understand the workings of the project.
• You are a team player and you have the analytical thinking.
