Technical Writer - spreadsheet/social software/SharePoint/Google+/WikiProject / Role:
For one of our clients we are looking for a Technical Writer with excellent knowledge of various platforms such as SharePoint, Google+ etc. The role is contract position for 2 months (with strong possibility of extension) close to Lucerne, Switzerland.
Main Tasks:
- Work with SW Architecture team for writing technical documentation, conduct meetings, tracks project status
- Documentation spread across various platforms such as SharePoint, Google+, Confluence Wiki
- Develop and revise technical documents
- Maintains departmental tools, processes and libraries. Assists with activities required for maintenance and publication
- Guide SW Architecture team through existing communication vehicles, templates and tools
- design of intranet web page using existing content management system
Skills / Requirements:
- Experience in technical writing (diagnostic business environment)
- Experience managing and implementing intranets or collaboration software
- Strong web communications and content management expertise
- Office applications, incl. word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software is a must
- Knowledge of multimedia tools and processes used in state of the art technical documentation
- Independent workability
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Education:
- Degree in scientific discipline, business administration, technical writing or other technical field
Language:
- English
- German is a plus
