Cloud Architect / Advisor - Azure - This is a long term contract opportunity to join a international financial services company for a global cloud project.Your experience/skills:
- Proficiency in developing cloud migration/ transition roadmaps as well as designing and building Azure solutions, including high availability, multi-region and multi-set architectures with cloud enabled service and deployment models including Public, Private and Hybrid
- Cloud Architecture experience with thorough understanding of Azure Cloud offerings and its services
- Ability to establish Azure best practice in line with the Azure Architecture Framework and Azure Cloud Design Patterns
- Strong understanding of core Azure infrastructure including VMs, configuration and deployment, AAD, Storage Accounts, Load Balancers, Auto scaling, Resource Groups, cloud networking and ARM Templates
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Serving as a cloud advisor in the delivery of Azure infrastructure and technically input to the design and implementation of solutions
- Working closely with lines of business to ensure understanding of requirements and implementing cloud solutions delivered to meet these requirements
- Managing individual cloud candidate assessment and qualification assignments to gather data to help architects and engineers design new cloud based solution for lines of business
- Work with Line of Business to create functional Azure architectures
- Gathering and tracking Line of Business demand as well as attending and presenting at customer workshops and meetings
