Technical Writer with fluent French wanted for our Zurich based client.
Your experience/skills:
- BA Degree in French, Journalism, Technical Writing, a related field or equivalent practical experience
- Several years of practical knowledge in technical writing, editing, product documentation or online publishing including experience with writing technical customer-facing materials (writing samples of Developer Documentation are a must)
- Proficiency with HTML and CSS
- Familiarity with content management systems and/or help tools
- Experience in project and process management of a documentation set as well as ability to work closely with engineering and product management teams
- Languages: French native/fluent, English fluent both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Writing, publishing and maintaining high-quality help content and user interface (UI) messaging for a technical product used by online retailers in French
- Writing documents for internal users and processes
- Editing, clarifying and proofreading documents written by others
- Managing the production and publishing of documentation
- Interviewing engineers, product managers and technical account managers to compile information
- Collaborating with engineers, product managers, developer relations and UX designers
