12 month contract, Zurich
For a leading client in Zurich we are searching for a Big data lead.
Responsibilities:
- Working in a small team of highly skilled professionals in a dynamic start-up environment
- Utilising latest technologies
- Building financial related applications
- Identifying relevant data streams
- Introducing machine learning techniques and principles
- Building prototypes and applying to established financial products
Requirements:
- Degree within relevant field of study
- Highly skilled with machine learning techniques
- Strong in software development; including Python, R, Scala, Java - min 5 years of experience
- Statistics
- NLP
- Deep Learning knowledge
- Big data experience eg Hadoop
- Background in investment, asset management, predictive analytics would be an advantage
