On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a Streambase Developer with banking industry experience.

Role:
- Development
- Development of features for current and new applications built in StreamBase technology in line with the business specifications in the area of Trading and Pricing (Equity/FX) which requires experience in high throughput, low-latency, variety of integrations and high availability systems.
- Testing
- Development of StreamBase Unit Tests, stress tests harnesses, performance benchmarking, back testing simulations. Participate in the System Integration Testing and get involved with the User Acceptance Testing. Take full responsibility over the application QA cycle.
- DevOps
- Set up and improve our continuous integration, continuous delivery and automatic testing system. Take part in the Linux system administration, monitoring and Scripting to setup, automate and optimize our application's life cycle through all environments (including production)
- Support
- Hands-on troubleshooting of business-critical applications during business hours with low response times. Deployment of applications before market opening or after market closing.
Skills:
- 7+ year experience in software development
- Significant experience using the StreamBase Complex Event Processing platform
- Significant Java experience with multi-threaded and/or asynchronous programming
- Expert-level Linux administration and Shell Scripting skills
- Relational database experience such as Oracle, SQL server, including database design and SQL enhancement. No-SQL databases (MongoDB, etc.)
- Experience with enterprise messaging (IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, TIBCO Rendezvous, TIBCO FTL)
- Professional experience in the finance industry
- Experience in FIX protocol implementation for different business cases and asset classes (preferable)
- Knowledge of elasticsearch and the ELK stack (preferable)
