A Swiss Insurance Company is looking for a Senior Developer who takes on a key programmer role in a project, which is part of a strategic company-wide data integration program. The goal of the project is to define and implement a metadata strategy for the company.Workload: 100%

Tasks:
• Coordinate with Business Partners, Business Analysts and the Management Team to analyse and understand the requirements in detail.
• Understand business requirements, prepare development estimates, impact analysis, statement of work and specifications.
• Design and document data model.
• Customization, technical Java and J2EE development, and testing the business requirements.
• Review implemented code, performance tuning and bug fixing.
• Prepare and maintain the project documents.
Requirements:
• Relevant experience with similar task in a complex organization.
• Proficient in Java and J2EE programming languages.
• Hands on experience with Core Java, Servlets, JSP, Struts and Hibernate.
• Design and Development experience on Data Management tools like EBX5 MDM.
• Development experience on Web applications.
Soft Skills:
• You have a self-starter attitude and you can comfortably navigate business and technical aspects of information management.
• You interact professionally with stakeholders on all levels.
• Fluent in English and German.
