Security Risk Assessment Consultant IT - CISSP - this is a long term assisgnment for an experienced Security Consultant to join a global organisiation. The role will involve assessing a number of applications across the business from internal and external threats and recommending solutions.
Your experience/skills:
- 5+ years' working experience with performing Security Risk Assessments on information systems and data assets
- 5+ years' experience with recommending and implementing security controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information and systems
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and application architecture
- Familiarity with security threat models for COTS, internally developed, Mobile, Cloud and Web Applications, such as OWASP and STRIDE
- Certification in security-related disciplines and technologies, like CISSP, CISA, CISM and CRISC is an advantage
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is an asset
Your tasks:
- Performing security risk assessments for information and IT assets, like applications, infrastructure, web apps, cloud platforms and mobile apps
- Liaising with system and application owners for scheduling, agreeing scope and assessing their systems and follow-up on recommended controls
- Supporting system, application and data owners for determining criticality of their assets
- Contributing to reviews of the assessment methodology
