Description:
- Performing analytical activities and all software development tasks.
- Incorporating technical and operational requirements into IT solutions.
Main tasks:
- Analyzing problems (business processes, transactions, data, functions)
- Defining system requirements (functional/qualitative requirements)
- Analyzing the technical and business environment (workplace, target systems and platforms, framework organization)
- Constructing models in terms of data, functions and/or objects
- Designing components and interfaces
- Implementing applications
- Setting up and maintaining environments for developing and testing
- Create and maintain project documentation (test, application, user manual)
- Project Estimating
- Specificating and implementing interfaces
- Developing or choosing the appropriate methods, techniques, standards, guidelines and tools for software development
Required Skills:
- Three+ years experience in the design and implementation of integration solutions.
- Solid background as a TIBCO developer (TIBCO BusinessWorks 5.x, TIBCO EMS), certification in TIBCO BusinessWorks preferred.
- Basic knowledge of the administration of a TIBCO infrastructure (TIBCO Administrator, TIBCO Hawk)
- Knowledge of XML technologies (XML, XML Schemas, XML Namespaces, XPath, XSLT Transformations).
- Knowledge of SQL and basic Oracle DBMS knowledge.
- Practical experience with web service technologies (SOAP/HTTP and SOAP/JMS)
- Literacy in UML notations and analysis practice including Use Case-, Sequence-, Class-, Activity-, Deployment- and Component Diagrams.
- Knowledge of the Java programming language.
- Knowledge of Versioning Systems (SVN or CVS).
- Basic knowledge of SOA architecture principles.
- Unix knowledge and basic Unix scripting knowledge.
- Pharma background can be a plus, experienced with working in validated environments (GxP, CSV)
- Strong team player with experiences in successfully operating in a global, virtual environment, across multiple timezones and multiple team locations
- Attitude to stick to a disciplined and organized working style.
- Solution-oriented attitude
- Excellent English skills, verbally and in writing
- Work location Basel and/or Warsaw/Poland. Travel required
