Technical Writer for Windows 10 Deployment Planning & Technical Impact Assessment (m/f)

Your tasks:
- Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information and instructions for greatest reader comprehension and write and edit technical information accordingly
- Meet with subject matter experts to ensure that specialized topics are appropriately addressed and discussed
- Plan, develop, organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
- Create tutorials to help Business Application Owners use a variety of applications (for test progress tracking etc.)
- Prepare or commission graphics and illustrations to elaborate on or complement technical writing
- Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities
- Create and maintain the information architecture
- Revise, edit or update instructions, technical information, and frequently asked questions as necessary
- Specialize in technical writing for one or more specific industries
Your qualifications
- Proven working experience in technical writing of concept documentation
- Excellent writing skills in English (Spanish, German, French and/or Polish skills are an advantage)
- Business-fluent English, both verbal and written, and ability to independently create information material
- Ability to write in an explanatory and procedural way for multiple audiences
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Office Suite
- Basic familiarity with Windows 10 in enterprise environments
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred (ITIL or similar cert.)
- Process oriented work and implementation of solution in MS Visio or similar tools required
- Experience in defining and calculating KPIs for various levels of management
