Job Description: Database Designer/Developer Requirement
Environment/Project description:
Group Risk IT is responsible for the management, specification and construction of firmwide risk systems across the IT Risk Portfolio in many areas including firmwide analytics.
Firm wide risk IT team is part of the Risk IT function and is dedicated to define and develop the strategic tools and projects for the firm wide users. The team is responsible for the broad range of applications for data sourcing, data analytics and reporting. Our role is to develop, deploy and maintenance of the applications for the firm wide users globally
Task & Responsibilities:
The IT organization "Firmwide Analytics " is seeking a Database Designer/Developer (Oracle) for several Firmwide Risk applications (so-called monitoring systems, calculators and others) in Zurich, Switzerland.
As a member of the "Methodology Technology" team you provide database services and components (Oracle) to several firmwide risk applications such as FSP RS and FSP Input Store.
Required Experience/Skills:
Professional experience of at least 10 years or more
In - depth experience in high volume and high performance, scalable database design experience is essential
Very good analytical and design skills and the ability to grasp complex business or technical issues in a structured and efficient manner
Experience in logical and physical Datamodelling
Excellent knowledge of PL/SQL
Good experience with Tools such as Toad and Power Designer
Skilled in tuning, debugging and troubleshooting of PL/SQL
Experience as DBA would be advantageous
Knowledge of UNIX (Linux)
Good knowledge of both written and spoken English
Strong problem solving and communication skills
Experience in the area of Risk IT is an advantage
