Business Project Manager (Market Data/Securities)
On behalf of our client, a leading bank in Zürich, we are looking for a Business Project Manager with proven Market Data experience. For this contract position based in Zurich in Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate who can start as soon as possible. Role:
- Project responsibility for an IT application in the global Credit Risk Management area
- Leading project, stakeholder management, adherence to scope, budget and schedule
- Manage interfaces to the various stakeholders (Credit Officers, Credit Analytics, Front Organization, Trading, Audit and other) with exposure to Senior Management
- Independent supervision of the project
- Recording, analysis, definition, prioritization and testing of new business requirements
- Responsibility for the end-to-end delivery and IT implementation within the project
- Development and execution of user training and stakeholder communications
- Lead the strategic IT discussion, develop the business case and story line
Skills:
- Experience in Project Management and IT implementations
- Background in Market Data and marketable securities
- Good understanding of trading and trading products considered a very big plus
- Effective Stakeholder Management, experience in facing Senior business stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong relationship building and consultation skills as well as ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with peers, management, project team, key stakeholders and clients
- Self-motivated and proven ability to work with little supervision
- Proficient in English, German a big plus
Desired skills:
- Background in the lending business of a financial services company
- Ability to engage with quantitative experts and flair for risk methodologies and models
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills, technical flair
