Next Link Solutions is looking for a Scientist for Exploratory Data Analysis and Statistics to work for a big pharma company based in Basel, Switzerland.General information:
• We are looking for a candidate who has profound experience in data and statistical analysis. The perfect candidate has experience in pharmaceutical industry.
• Start date: asap (latest start date: 17.04.2017)
• End date: 13.10.2017
• Extension: an extension is possible, but would need to be approved
• Work location: Basel
• Workload: 100%
• Remote: not possible due to high sensitive data
• Travelling: no travelling required
• Team: 6 internal colleagues and 10 contractors
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Analysing big data sets
• Data visualisation
Requirements & Experience
• +5 years of experience with analysing big data sets, data visualisation
• Excellent analytical and “scientific communication” skills
• Profound experience with analysing biomedical and sensor data
• Deep knowledge in MS Office, R, Python, Matlab or similar software packages/languages
• Software development and big data infrastructures
• Fluent in English and one additional language
• Self-starting team player
• Very good university degree in statistics, mathematics or a natural science
Nice to have:
+++ Project-based work experience in the pharmaceutical industry/consulting preferred
++ PhD is preferred
