Security and Patch Management Expert (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Act as a vulnerability and security subject matter expert.
- Lead the proactive assessment and remediation of security vulnerabilities within applications and infrastructure software and/or other information assets.
- Review security scans and leads/manage resolution of issues.
- Anticipate future threats by coordinating the deployment of vulnerability patches & fixes.
- Work with the infrastructure and security teams to test and patch applications and infrastructure software to prevent vulnerabilities and security threats.
- Support applications and solutions owners in audit and compliance activities documents best practices for vulnerabilities controls.
- Develop and maintain a security risk register for all operating systems and environments.
- Build effective relationships with key stakeholders who own and support IT infrastructure, applications, processes, and operations.
- Prioritize action plan based on risk and impact.
- Communicate vulnerability patching plan and progress to all internal stakeholders.
Main qualifications
- Information Technology Engineer degree (or equivalent), along with professional experience in a similar position.
- Knowledge of network, Systems, Endpoint, application, data protection issues, security risks, standards, benchmarks, processes, applications, tools, and techniques.
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and risk mitigation strategies for security threats, trends, and architecture.
- Experience with systems and technologies: Windows Server, middleware as MS SQL, ISS, .Net, runtimes, webrowser. (Experience with Windows workstation / endpoint, MS Office and Linux environment (Redhat) is an asset.)
- Experience with management BiOS, GPO & ADMX administration.
- Experience with configuration tools as SCCM, WSUS/WUfB and monitoring tools as SCOM.
- Good knowledge and experience about scripting.
- Excellent ability to work in a team, under pressure and in a complex and multinational environment.
- Open-minded, appreciative of novelty and intuition in finding a solution to the various problems that arise.
- Fluent in English language (written and spoken) French is a plus.
