For our customer, a large pharmaceutical company based in Basel, we are looking for a chemical and pharmaceutical technologist (m/f/d).
Background:
The work takes place in the production of chemical active ingredients in the Small Molecules Launch division in Basel. In this department, mainly chemical intermediate products and end stages are produced, sometimes in protective cabins with the appropriate protective equipment. This work is carried out taking into account the GMP guidelines and generally applicable protection concepts.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Management and monitoring of chemical reactions according to production documentation
- Performing various physical operations such as filtering, extracting, distilling, crystallizing, centrifuging and drying
- Cleaning the production facilities
- Logging of the work carried out in the production documentation
- Recognize and report deviations
- Working under GMP conditions
- Working in Controlled Zones
- Working under safety and environmental regulations
Must Haves:
- Completed vocational training as a chemical technician, chemical and pharmaceutical technologist or other with at least 5 years of professional experience as a chemical technician
- Professional experience within the specified training occupations or 5 years of professional experience after other training in the same job
- GMP knowledge
- Knowledge of process control systems is mandatory
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written German is required, English is an advantage
