Tasks & Responsibilities
• Performs software development tasks as specified by the project team, the technical leader or direct supervisor.
• Predominantly independent execution of work assignments that require a good level of specialist knowledge and understanding of operational interrelationships. Planning, estimation, design, implementation, testing, and documentation of these assignments.
• Follows the software development/architecture quality standards relevant for the assigned work packages.
• Documentation of the design, processes, and workflow in shareable documents for future reuse and adoption.
• Works closely with many other teams to adopt our platforms and components.
• Provides work status and issue notification within the software development team and if required to software project management.
• Seeks opportunities in our day-to-day workflow to improve quality and efficiency from ideation to deployment.
• Develops into a specialist for an area of activity within his/her field.
• Cross-departmental project collaboration or management of small projects in the area of expertise.
• Representing superiors in specialist issues.
• Advising, supporting, and as necessary schooling of other co-workers
Must Haves:
• Thorough knowledge of C++ and C
• Good knowledge of C# programming and .NET
• Experience working as SW engineer in an agile team for at least 2 – 5 years preferably in the pharma sector
• Experience with Linux
• Degree in computer science or equivalent needed
• English skills verbal and written are a must
• Working Model mixed - working on-site in Rotkreuz and also in home office
