For our client, a bank in Zurich, we are looking for a Product Manager/ Product Owner.Tasks
General
Provide front-office users with a high quality support in the context of advisory & discretionary processes and tools.
- Accountable for products across its lifecycle (CtB and RtB) and responsible that it is compliant with the Bank’s rules and regulations.
- Responsible for the overall business case incl. sponsorship, product vision, stakeholder mgmt., prioritization of the overarching change-delivery and runoperations backlog
- Responsible for Responsible for content and prioritization of program backlog and implementing the epics as prioritised by QBR
- Responsible to manage dependencies across products including management of IT assets related to the product across its lifecycle including decommissioning.
- Manage and prioritize flow of work, define releases, program increments and program backlo
- Collaborate with ARTs to build the required functionality and with IT to ensure solutions are deployed to customers and users
- Ensure any IT impact on RtB operations are accounted for, e.g. RtB Budget, SLA, annual software impairment review, architecture impact
- Understand customer needs, and ensure product completeness, develop and communicate PI vision and roadmap, participate in PI Planning, demos, and Inspect and Adapt (I&A)
- Work with System Architect/Engineering to understand Enabler work

- Ensure products meet the economic business goals established by the portfolio
- Developing a clear model of how the solution provides value to customers
- Develop customer-centric ROI models that align with the value provided
Requirements
Absolutely necessary:
- Previous Product Manager or Product Owner experience
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in the financial industry
- At least 4+ years’ experience in advisory and/or discretionary business
- Experienced in driving EPICs conceptually throughout implementation => connect vision into a strategy and beak it down into implementation themes
- Good knowledge of IT applications (windows) and support tools & processes
- Sound understanding of the end-to-end operations in a private bank
- Bachelor in Business Administration or higher
- Very good English, especially in written form (C1) Basic German and/or French knowledge preferable
Preferable:
- Familiarity with advisory & discretionary tools, processes and products would be an asset
- Expert with agile development processes and framework (i.e. SAFe) is required
- Scaled Agile Framework education (e.g. Product Managers & Product Owner)
