Senior Cyber Security Analyst (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Proactive monitoring of the IT infrastructure of the key accounts and identification of cyber threats
- Ensuring the appropriate response to cyber threats by analyzing them and coordinating measures for their mitigation
- Use of threat intelligence information, proactive conduction of threat hunting initiatives on one´s own and use of the findings to further develop the quality of the services
- Sharing one´s expertise and actively help in the further development of the team
Main qualifications
- Profound professional experience
- Experience in defining monitoring use cases, with incident handling processes and in the area of threat hunting
- Ability and willingness to share knowledge and take over coaching for the inexperienced team members
- Knowledge in the area of communication protocols, network systems, architectures, operating systems (Linux/Unix, Windows)
- Good knowledge of current threats and the process of cyber-attacks, plus appropriate knowledge of relevant frameworks
- Know-how in data analysis and correlation using SIEM technology, Splunk and ELK is an advantage
- Ability to bring theoretical and practical knowledge in current technologies (e.g. EDR, NDR technologies, MS Defender ATP)
- Basic German language skills (A2) and confidence in using English
