Michael Bailey Associates is currently looking to hire a CI/CD Engineer for a client based in Zurich.This is a contract role for initially 6 months with the possibility of getting a further extension.
The role owner is responsible for building up and running the CI/CD setup. This includes on-premise and cloud-based environments, which need to be set up and maintained.
Therefore, the technical skills are required for implementing and maintaining the environments and toolset but also the skills are needed to manage the project for implementing and interacting with all the different stakeholders. The function is positioned within a team of 5 Release managers, 4 Unix Engineers and one Windows Engineer, which collaborates closely with Application Management, 3rd-party developers, Engineering, IT Operations, Avaloq Release Management and IT Test Management.
Key Accountabilities
- Setting up and maintaining the CI/CD setup
- Managing the implementation project for the CI/CD setup Project support (consulting)
- Documentation of system landscape and processes
- Improving and automating processes
- Managing and coordinating the different stakeholders using CI/CD
Skills
- IT / Technical education
- Engineering, setting up, adjusting and operating of Unix/Linux environments
- Experience with containerized environments (preferably Openshift)
- Experience with GitLab, Artifactory, Jenkins
- Experience with Network and Firewall principles
- Solution and service-oriented, taking over ownership
- Good social grace in contact with the business and IT Developers
- Own initiative, self-starter qualities and persistency
- Analytical & structured thinking/working
Required Experience
- Experience with containerized environments (preferably Openshift)
- Experience with GitLab, Artifactory, Jenkins
- Experience with Network and Firewall principles Other Requirements

- Fast in adapting to new procedures and working practices of a dynamic and international environment
